It features a fully adjustable mechanical advance and a magnetic pick-up trigger for unbeatable precision. The billet aluminum body houses a hardened steel shaft guided by a sealed ball bearing on top and a sintered steel bushing on the bottom for consistent performance up to 10,000 RPM. As an added benefit, this distributor can be locked out and features brass terminals and a wire retainer.
This distributor is designed for a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator. It is not compatible with a generator and cannot be used with a ballast resistor. Requires the use of an ignition control system and external ignition coil.
